“A pen name, nom de plume, or literary double, is a pseudonym adopted by an author. The author’s name may be known only to the publisher, or may come to be common knowledge.”
Fronckowiak’s career has spanned many years in the publishing industry and his talent lies in both subject and the style of his works. Because of the various disciplines that he employed, he chose the “nom de plume” Malarz to differentiate between styles.
The name Malarz means “painter” in Polish. He also used E. Wood.
These names were used to differentiate between the “loose tropical” style of painting from the “Hudson River” school such as the Old Florida Series.
